AP Automotive H1253AP Xenon Main Beam Headlight Bulbs, H12, 53W

UPDATE - Been in just over two weeks and I receive a bulb warning this morning, yep one has blown already! So, as others have already said, don't bother even though they are cheap it's not worth it!They are OK, so far. Been in less than a week and, well, they are OK. Why? well....I've added some photos so you can see. As they are being used as Angel Eyes (ie; on all the time when the engine is on) then the inside ring is a nice white colour, but the outside ring (the one where the headlight dipped beam is) is still a bit yellow. But when you turn them onto side lights, the brightness dims (as it should) and they look yellow again in both rings, which is the same for the inner ring when the dipped beam is on. The whole point is so that the ring and headlight look the same, which they don't.How long will they last? Well I'd like to think they'll be there for some time to come yet, but time will tell.

Be warned these are halogen blue coated bulbs not Xenon gas, they are xenon style hence the price, however, you can pick these up for around £1 from other sellers on Amazon, the manufacturer has cleverly called the make XENONBULBS which is misleading, these are not the real deal and overpriced for a halogen bulb. don't be fooled by the name. they are very dull especially on my 2008 renault megane.

...these would have cost significantly more to purchase locally and the came the next day - which was handy as I was having to avoid driving in the evening having lost one head lamp.They were very easy to fit - I had heard they would be a nightmare but it was a nothing job and I am no expert under the bonnet. I had to move the power steering fluid bottle out of the way but it simply slides upwards - no problem at all.I do sort of wish I'd gotten some brighter ones though, these are obviously just below the legal limit but it's pretty obvious many drivers ignore this and go with 100w and more powered bulbs having being blinded almost on a daily basis in winter. These produce a very clear white light but will certainly not dazzle any oncoming vehicles - which is a good thing that I wish more people gave some consideration to!

I used these bulbs in a Merc Sprinter as a night hub to hub driver all over the UK, much brighter and last around 3 x longer than the more expensive bulbs from the high street auto accessory shop.I recommend these for any user, I have ordered and used around 10 pairs and never had a faulty bulb, they also come with extra bright side light bulbs, again they are great. In all a very worth while purchase

These are very bright but do not throw a very good beam

I have these fitted for 6 months now and I've had no problems with them. Very bright white lights! I've yet to fit the position lamps but the H7 bulbs are perfect. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is due to the packaging. The position lamps and dipped beam lamps came in the same box rolling around.

Items arrived within 3 working days. I fit them to my 2002 Renault clio and the results were beyond my expectations. They give out a nice strong white light with a very faint blue outline, but its very faint u barely notice it,The only thing is don't expect them to be stronger than the halogen bulbs (unless ur current ones are utterly rubbish), the brightness seems the same they just feel better giving a light more like daylight and look cool :P

Very pleased with the product, not had a chance to test it at night but it is much whiter compared to the halogens I had installed.One side note, the side lights you get, even though they appear blue tinted they unfortunately are still very halogen yellow and not crisp and white compared to the main product. But as this was an addition to the main product as a freebie, I still give it a 5 star rating!
