Update since using this, I don't even have to call my pup to clean his teeth. He comes and jumps in my lap as soon as I open the jar of finger wipes. This stuff must be delicious. He also stays in my lap for a while after I finish, to cuddle. He's never been such a lap dogMy peek was already used to having his teeth cleaned before bed. He would come when I called him and climb on top of me. I lay in bed to clean his teeth. That way I can see in his mouth. The bedside lamps light it up in there. He has always came to get them cleaned, but sometimes clearly reluctantly. I use the little cloth finger puppet style cleaners. I decided to add Toothpaste to the regimen and it must be tasty. Now he climbs on top of me as soon as I start opening the jar of finger wipes. I have to add Toothpaste with him on top of me. He won't wait to be called. In addition to tasting great, I do think I see better results cleaning. The vanilla mint smells pleasant too.

Our Labrador Retriever has been using the toothpaste for years and loves it. He has allergies and is very sensitive but this has worked perfect for him, it’s been successful in freshening my breath as well as cleaning his pearly white teeth! When I tell him it’s time to brush his teeth he grows very happy and runs to the cabinet! It’s a good price and works great!

I swear by this dog tooth paste my dog has a heart disease since i got him as a puppy so i decided to brush his teeth every day so i dont have to risk putting him under and this tooth paste works kerps tarta at bay and keeps his breath minty fresh , love the vanilla mint flavor.

My cats love this. Still trying to brush their teeth, but they love to lick the paste.

Until Amazon changes their community guidelines on reviews, we as buyers are not going to know what the likelihood of us getting good product is. We are not allowed to include reviewing the merchants customer service, which is often directly to the product that we bought. I will continue giving product reviews, and the stars will be right, but this will be the write-up. Of course, they will probably not allow this either. Because I am reviewing them and not the product. And they are protecting bad merchants and then advertising on how good their review policy is.

I use this product as much as possible. It's hard to tell if it's working. Sometimes I use it with the finger brush, sometimes a paper towel or toothbrush. It does have a decent smell, but idk if she likes it.

I ordered vanilla mint flavor and been using it on my ShiMa, Maisy, for about 2 yrs now. This toothpaste works well in getting rid of tartar and it’s easy to use. Maisy is 8 yrs old with a few missing teeth in front top and bottom, vet said it’s a problem with the breed. She has her teeth cleaned professionally every 2 yrs. I used to brush her teeth once a week then every other day with a different toothpaste but tartar continued to build-up. So now I’ve been brushing her teeth everyday after her dinner with Virbac and I can see the difference. She has no bad breath, never did, and her teeth are cleaner—tartar was mostly on molars. She hides from me when it’s brushing teeth time, she seems to know when it’s time but she doesn’t really mind having it done once I catch her when she least expects me. Then she goes to the pantry where we keep the dental chew treat which she’s crazy about. The price is too steep for a 2.5oz tube but people—including me—will buy it for their beloved dog.

Picky cat loves the flavor! Really assists with the stress on cats when beginning a brushing regimen. He thinks its a treat! Big plus, the cat doesn't run to drink the flavor away when we'redone brushing, so the paste stays pn the teeth longer. One of the few with enzymes to break down tartar slowly.
