The front pockets are a fine mesh material.

Q: How do these pants handle cold winter weather?

These were bought for an alaskan land/sea trip that was cancelled due to covid so I cannot tell you how they are in cooler weather but they are very lightweight since they are 100% nylon

Q: How do i open the belt so i can put it on?

Pinch the back of the buckle, the side away from the junction. It opens the clasp where the two ends meet together.

Q: 32 or 34? I'm a 33 - which one should I order?

34 unless you want them too tight. Size up and use the belt.
