Wood Train Track Garage - Fits 5 Cars - 100% Compatible with Thomas Wooden Railway System

This was the perfect addition to our KidKraft train table. It houses five trains but doesn't seem to take up an enormous amount of space. Yes, we do have to sacrifice some of the "real estate" to house this thing, but my kid gets a kick out of backing the trains in so they can "sleep" :) I'm not really sure why this comes in two pieces because I can't imagine you'd use them separately but maybe there is a purpose that I'm not aware of. We've only had this for a few days, so I can't comment on longevity, but it seems sturdy and well made.As a sidenote: this garage fits smaller trains perfectly, but longer trains will stick out a bit. We have several Thomas wooden trains, and the engines without tenders seem to be what this garage is made for (like Thomas, Percy, Victor, Diesel, etc.), but Henry, James, Emily and the like all stick out. This doesn't seem to be an issue if you only have one or two of the longer trains in there, but any more than that you will have a hard time getting them all out by rolling on the track.

The product is solid buy for the money. I read all the reviews about the garage being fragile and the track piece is made of some sort of low quality fiber board... well it's made of some fiber board and I can imagine it chipping off with extended use. I've had mine for 4+ months and I've had no issues. My kid has moved onto his next toy so I doubt the garage will see the damage others have described. Overall, the product is a solid buy for the money.

This is an awesome product! The parking spaces are long enough to fit the longest trains (e.g., Gordon, Henry, Hiro; without their tenders, of course) which tells me this product was designed well. The base (track) appears to be an engineered wood product (particle board sandwiched between two pieces of natural wood). It is a nice quality piece of engineered wood, and I am not at all concerned about it not being made from natural/solid wood. The roof, and sides are painted, so it is difficult to tell if they are natural/solid or engineered wood. Four screws are used to attach the base and roof to the outermost sides. It is sturdy and well built, and I suspect it will last a long time. It is compatible with our Thomas branded trains, train track, and our generic track. This is a winner in my book, and I would happily buy it again.

The train garage is well-bulit and has five individual tracks disbursing into the garage. My grandsons will love this!

It's a great design at a great price. Hard to find little wooden train sheds that have this many slots without them being overly expensive. My only thing is quality. The only parts that are ACTUALLY wood is the shed walls & roof. The actual base to both parts is something of a thick chip board. At least it feels that way as it is much softer, light, and (the downfall) can easily chip or break. I think I have re-attached the little pegs that connect the bases like 6-7 times in the last half year and even had to eventually put a wood glue/paste on the edges in hopes they would stop chipping. Worked so far.

My 4 year old loves this. It fits up to the other tracks we have, it’s sturdy and well made. It seems it will last for a while!

I don't know why people have complained that this isn't sturdy. If you expect your 60 pound child to stand on this then this is Not the product for you. Don't buy it. However, if you have reasonable children who don't stand on their toys and love trains, this is a great set. It is compatible with most major traffic sets and fits perfectly.

I bought this for my grandson’s Birthday. He loves it! He stores all of his Thomas the train engines in it. It is very sturdy, and works great.
