I’ve only had the kit a day or two so my review will be a brief first impression of the kit.First impression, this kit is a great value just for the components included.The kit’s included CD has both written and video tutorials for two programming languages PyThon and C. Tutorials are very well produced with excellent step by step bread boarding and programming steps with lots of extra info including links to even more resources.Later after having some time to play with the kit I’ll update my review.

There is a lot of cool stuff in here. The 1602 lcd display has an interface soldered on th back of it tha requires only four pins on you raspberry pi. The is a dht-11 sensor in here that makes for a great weather station project when combined with the 1602 lcd. The price is a great value. My next project is going to use the motion detector sensor with a pi camera capture pictures of wildlife.

I am digging through the materials now. Yea, Raspberry Pi is a very complex thing to learn. I am getting so much good practical hands on experience and understanding here. The kit comes with GOOD documentation, and some good parts. I am happy with the product.

Wonderful starter kit that really helps one start a project if you haven't done any coding. Very comprehensive & worth a try to get going on a new project!

I got all my parts and even got an extra part that wasn't in the list, male GPIO headers.

I received an earlier version of this product, OSOYOO Raspberry Pi Starter Kit V2, as a gift. With over 30 years of technical support, programming, and a MS in Information Technology I thought this would be a good kit to learn more about my RPi 3. WRONG!!!1. My kit did not have the 3 Light Sensors listed in the product.2. Kit is described as a product for beginners, you need a working knowledge of electronics, Linux or Windows, and C or Python.3. The Lessons are full of grammatical errors.4. Hyperlinks and command statements have obviously not been edited, no excuse for this.5. Diagrams are not clearly explained. In Lesson 12 it clearly shows a DC power cable which is not listed in the Hardware Setup and not included in the kit.6. Instructions incomplete, inaccurate, and full of errors. Reference to jumper wires with no explanation between M-M, M-F, F-F.I noticed that Amazon is not selling the version I received. But from the description of this product, the RPi 3 Zero W Starter Kit has the same lessons and the same components as my kit. I truly hope OSOYOO has corrected the mess that was in the old kit, if not. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!
