Chin strap angle is steep. Good value
I was on the fence between 3 and 4 stars, but ultimately gave it a 4 because the price is great. I've worn much less desirable similar style helmets for 10-20% higher price. It gets the job done at a good value.Interesting note, I got this for my gf, so got the small. It's huge on her. I actually wear it now. Never worn smaller than a large in full face or half helmet.Tested on a 1999 Fatboy with no fairing whatsoever. That's a tough test for a half helmet. Sitting straight up, you're like a sail. The worst thing about this helmet compared to others, was how far forward the chin strap was angled (see pic). This caused the helmet to orient down the back of my head (with the visor tilted upward), which would allow it to catch even more air. Above 50 mph this became very uncomfortable. On subsequent rides, I cranked down on the chin strap like I never have before, and I finally got the hang of it and was able to get up to 75-80 mph with minimal wind sail action. The finish is nice, the logo on the front kind of annoying, I'm not a fan of the visor. At speed I'll always wear goggles especially without a windscreen.

Nice!
Very nice helmet. Feels really comfortable and looks really good. Wore it a few times and I feel good with it on.

Not bad, considering the price
Overall, I'd say this isn't the greatest half-helmet out there, but considering the very affordable price-point, it's not too bad. It looks pretty decent, fits as expected, and has some good features included (the drop down sun-shield, for example) for the price. It's more than sufficient for me to toss in the tour-pack and get me through the helmet law states, so I have no complaints. The paint seems to scuff a little easily, and the helmet bag that's included is very cheapy, so I'll probably be ceramic coating the paint, and putting it in a nicer bag... but again, for the current price, it's a good value.Recommended.

Nice, lightweight, good visor
I ride a dresser and my wife is often on the back. The helmet my wife wears, and she doesn't like wearing sunglasses, also has a drop-down lens. So, this seemed like a good way for me to try something similar, and not nearly as expensive as hers.I like the matte finish. it's a good looking helmet, ... admittedly but for the big fat logo stamped on the front which would be more satisfactory on the back - I am going to have to see if I can get that off. The chin strap is snug and has a nice little snap to avoid flapping. And the visor drops down or snaps back upward very easily. The lenses are tinted a little - enough for a moderately sunny day and not so dark that it can be used into dusk. It's stamped "DOT." And the size L, which is my normal helmet size, held true.I've often made a point of carrying a spare pair of sunglasses because they do break and get lost, so this makes that less of a necessity. Because of the light weight and good fit, this may be my new preferred daily-use helmet, or at least top two ... and worst case, if a hairdryer doesn't work, I will probably find a suitable sticker to cover the logo.

Great fit, just looks a bit weird when on
The fit on this helmet is perfect. it's comfortable and runs true to size. The measurements are absolutely correct. Now to the weird thing... This is the only helmet I own that gives a front/back mushroom head, but not so much side to side. It looks awkward to me, but I don't own any other helmets with a visor. Now the visor could explain the front extended look, but the back also seems like it is longer too. I can't really explain it better than that. But the padding is there and quality seems good on construction. Definitely worth the cost for the flip down visor though. Good product if you don't mind it looking a bit different. Better than the full 360 degree mushroom head of some of my 1/2 helmets.

Nice Helmet For Any Helmet Need!
This is a very nice-looking helmet for motorcycles, biking, scootering, horseback riding, etc. It says it is DOT certified and has the official stamp on the back of the helmet. Comes with a carry bag and helmet skullcap. Ensure correct fit by measuring your head. The only downsides were it had a snap closure rather than a regular snap closure (like a dog collar) and it referred to an owner's manual which was not included and I didn't see any paper included that said anything about where to do that at.I rate this a BUY IT item still though, as it is a great value and is DOT Certified.

Pretty Good Helmet
This helmet is pretty good, though I would say it’s a light-duty helmet. The sunshade is nice as is the quick connection for the chin strap. It looks like the straps were slightly misattached, because there is some extra material near the ears that look a bit odd when wearing the helmet.Overall it’s a good item for the price. If you want something nicer, I would select a more expensive, name-brand helmet. If you’re looking for something to satisfy traffic laws, this does carry a DOT sticker on the back. Should be good for low-speed impacts, but not much more.Somewhat comfortable, but needs to be broken in more to give a better assessment of the fit. No would say size is true to expected.

Not my favorite
I have a few helmets of similar style so I am able to compare favorably.I do not find this to be my favorite for a few reasons. While it is an XL fit, I find that it rubs the top of my head as there isn't as much foam or cushioning there.Even after the safety strap is secured around my neck, it is still loose fitting and doesn't quite fit correctly (yes, I compared sizes of my head before ordering as I'm aware of my head size). So I do not feel as though it's the safest option for riding my motorcycle.
