Save yourself the headache and get this one.
Works great with Dex on my Samsung S24 Ultra + XReal One. Overpriced for the functionality, but it makes it possible to use the glasses while charging the phone so it is necessary. An important reason to get this genuine one from XReal is that it produces clean and crisp sound from the glasses when it is connected. I bought another one that was about 4 quid cheaper and it did not produce sound from the glasses. The phone also started losing connection intermittently. Seems like a solid piece of kit. Build quality is fine. Image comes in like the glasses is connected directly so no complaints there.

Good Quality
I works all right with my Nintendo Switch

Works great but...
I'm connecting this to a steam deck to use with the XReal Air 2 AR glasses and whilst it works great, the cable isn't very flexible and I feel like it puts stress around the connection when it bends. For the price I wish it was a bit more flexible whilst being as being as durable as it is.

Works with Nintendo Switch
I have been using the xreal beam with my Nintendo Switch however I noticed this introduced a fair bit of lag, I then discovered the xreal hub and upon investigation I saw this worked with the Nintendo Switch if powered, so that was one of the reasons I bought as well as being able to use on my iPad and charge at the same time.I can confirm this does work on the switch using a power bank however it did result in my switch being unable to power on and charge, at 1st I thought it had bricked my switch, however holding down the power button for 20 seconds rectified the issue. Also I have noticed if using via a power bank this will not charge my iPad Pro m4 or iPhone 15, it detects the power starts to charge then disconnects after around 5 seconds, it does this in a loop so unable to use and glasses as they turn off on back on constantly.Using the hub via a powered charger does work correctly, but I can safely say using on a power bank doesn’t quite work, I have tested with 3 different power banks.UpdateSince posting this review Xreal have reached out directly to try and resolve, the issue still persist however Xreal have been really helpful so far, the output on my power bank is 20w, if I have the power bank plugged into the hub without the glasses attached this will charge me iPhone & iPad with no issues, however if I plug the glasses in this is when the issue arise with charging connected and then disconnected, so looks like a power bank with more the 20w output is required

A shame, but ordered twice, and both ordered hubs have been faulty and have had to be returned.
This was second-attempt at ordering the Xreal hub.The first provided no video or power pass-through at all, and just got so hot when connected to a USB-C power that it could barely be touched - a Flir thermal camera showed the surface temperature reached over 65 degrees C before I disconnected it concerned about potential damage. That was returned as faulty and a second order placed, but the replacement hasn’t fared much better. Granted it doesn’t get hot - but it also doesn’t pass through power or any video signals, so is just useless and has also now been returned. On the face of it, both looked to have a very good build quality, and a reassuringly solid aluminium case, so I was looking forward to using at least one of them with the Xreal One Pro glasses, but disappointingly there must be a quality control issue as neither worked at all, and so have both been returned and although the phrase is ‘third time lucky’ I won’t be ordering this a third time to see if I can finally get a working model, but will buy a cheaper third party alternative instead.Sorry Xreal - you can do better quality control than this.

Does not support 45w fast charging as advertised
This addon will allow you to use your glasses and charge your device, although it does not support 45w fast charging like they advertise, I've only been able to get 20w juice through the adapter.2nd. If you use a magnetic USB-C cable for charging, then the device will reset itself if the magnetic cable gets disconnected. This is very annoying.
