FEATURE-RICH DVD/CD/USB PLAYER WITH ALL NECESSARY ACCESSORIES
The media could not be loaded. I really like this multi-functional player. It is as advertised. The DVD player comes with fully functional remote, RCA AV cable, HDMI cable, USB charging cable with power adapter and instruction manual. I connected to my entertainment equipment using the included HDMI 2.0 4G cable with output format option 1080P, aspect ratio 16:9 through an HDMI switcher. It also can output 720P HD. Testing, I have played a dozen DVDs, some commercial purchased, some created on my DVD recorder from TV broadcasts. The pictures and sound were perfect. I had fun with the slow motion, fast motion, A-B repeat and other features provided by the remote. The player is documented in the manual as having a wide variety of input formats (see pics) and supports 1080P and below output formats. The manual states that it up-converts DVD video to full HD. My DVD recorder does NOT record HD but when I played them on this player, the picture was definitely of better quality. Batteries for the remote are not included – 2 AAA needed. The player makes a small buzzing sound when running – I assume it is the disc motor. The manual refers to a multi-level picture ZOOM function. There were no instructions on how to activate this feature in the manual so I could not test it. The setup menu and manual contain more than I am covering about features, options and functions. I tested most of them and they all worked. The COPY function will copy a playing music or audio CD or pictures on a CD (I assume – did not test this – no JPEG pics on a CD) to a USB flash drive – supports MPEG, MP3 and JPG/JPEG and FAT and FAT32 formatted flash drives up to 32GB. The COPY options are not documented in the manual – see pictures of options – from pressing COPY button. The video is playing a music CD (not in COPY mode). The “copied” USB music worked in my laptop and as input to this player. Album and file titles were preserved (my old CDs reflect “track01” titles). When a USB is inserted for playback with folders and files, you see a directory to make selections (see video). The unit will accept USB flash drive input to play – video, audio, pictures. I prefer the originals. Some remote keys only function on specific DVD, CD input discs – you get “invalid key” if not appropriate. The USB port cannot be used for charging. For picture CD’s, you can activate a slide show function. It has a screen saver option in the setup – activates when playback is stopped for about 5 minutes. The player will go into power standby 25 minutes after a STOP. Fast Forward and Fast Reverse speeds range from 2X to 20X.The only oddity was when 2 commercially purchased DVDs froze near the middle and skipped a few tracks while the rest of those DVDs played perfectly. I tested them on my VCR/DVD player/recorder and they played normally (no sign of scratches or smudges???).

REGION FREE - That alone is worth the price!!
A quick message for those who never really thought about this point - DVD movies are sold by region. US is Region 1, Europe Region 2, etc. And one region's DVDs are NOT allowed to play in another region. Most people probably don't think of this because all the players and DVDs we buy are already set for the region we are in and unless we come across other region DVDs, or travel extensively, we never come across other region movies. Buying over the internet may eventually waken people up to the fact that we are limited to what DVDs we can play where we are. The reason is to prevent piracy, which happens anyway, but it does limit your choices at time. So basically, the buyer suffers.Everyone needs a region free player- then you can buy DVDs from anywhere and still be able to watch them with this little wonder. For instance: The Banana Splits show DVDs (the late 1960s TV show) is still only available in region 2 but not the US, why? Doesn't matter, this baby will play them. Some of the Hammer Horror DVDs are also easier to buy only in region 2, can't watch them? You can with this little baby. Such a great price and does so much...what are you waiting for?? Plays through either HDMI or RCA cords (included). Comes with all you need, except the television. Only drawback, and I am sure we are all used to this by now, is that the remote does more than the DVD player itself - so guard the remote closely! Might be hard to match up a universal remote if anything happens to the original. But honestly just get another one of these for the price. As a matter of fact, stock up on these for the price. Look at all the DVDs from around the world you could be watching without worry about what region it is set to playback in. HIGHLY recommended to everyone!

pretty good.
Mini HD DVD Player with Hdmi, HD DVD Player for TV, Multi Region DVD Player for Smart TV, HDMI/RCA Output Cable Included, 1080P, Breakpoint Memory, Built-in PAL/NTSC, CD Players for Homebeing older, i have a fairly extensive collection of dvds. many tv series, movies docs etc. alot of stuff that doesnt show up in the streamerables. i got this because its small. the problem with streaming is you do get quite used to switching between movies or after every fourth episode from your seat. you do not need get up to swap out a disc. well, i decided whyu not just put the dvd player next to my chair. its like streaming but old school. saves my old self from being too enthusiastic about moving through my room every few hours. i can just stay put. like the young folks do. ha. this appears to be powered off the same usb you charge your phone with, so i suspect this will probably run off a powerbank. the menu options are fairly extensive. there is alot more menu-ey stuff that i do not recall being available on my other dvd players. its a simple ui but alot of things you can tweak inside of the dvds menu. like brightness for instance. wow. i used to burn thru cheap dvd players in a year or so. never spent real money on them because they's go kaput. i dont know that this will be any different witht he exception that it is no longer a primary viewing source. the only real issue i noticed was the audio seems a little lower than expected. but this may be something i have to tweak in the menu. also, if i recall coreecetly, the default was like 480p. when i saw the screen looking a little suboptimal i found the menu and selected 1080p and then it looked as i would expect it to. i think most older dvds are 720p anyways, but it was a relief that i could fix that. anyway, i dont expect it to last forever, but with the decline and near extinction of dvds being sold, so too will players dissappear. just like vcrs. have several of those too.

Economical and compact DVD player - region free!
Probably the most useful thing about this little portable DVD player is that it is region free. This means you can play DVDs of your favorite shows from anywhere in the world and they will play on this unit.It doesn't do Blu-ray disks, but for the price point, it is a decent little unit.Comes with the power supply and cables. We used the HDMI output since that guarantees the highest resolution which is 1080p (or HD).Also play your CD's as well.We use it in our trailer. Nice compact unit that requires little power.
