PERFECT!
We've never had a microwave repaired before. A little research led us to replacing this microwave splatter shield. We chose this shield because the size was flexible. We were easily able to cut to fit with scissors. Excellent value!

It works!!!!
It was only after purchasing a new microwave, that I wondered if these were even a thing, and they were. So before throwing out my old unit, I decided try this product, and it worked like a charm. You have to cut them to fit, so be sure to take out your old card and trace it. I made a template of the older card for future use. These cards are fragile, so I suggest using an exacto knife to cut.I had a slight issue trying insert the card tabs into the microwave slots, so use caution. You have to slightly bend the card to get it into the tabs, and the card material is easily broken. One of my tabs cracked, but it did not come off completely. So when I inserted the card, it did not lay flat to the wall of the microwave, causing a slight gap. I tried it out, and the microwave worked. I will cut a new card to ensure that no microwaves leak from the gap, to be on the safe side.Overall I like this product, although It’s not the same material as the original card,(that appeared to be some sort of plastic.) My microwave no longer sparks like previously, so that’s a win for me.

Cheap fix. Nine more to go.
I was a technician by trade, so I couldn't help but check out our old microwave when it started making an arcing sound while heating something up. The only arc marks (looked like a burned area) I found were on the hidden side of the little RF window that radiates the energy from the magnetron ( and keeps the food splatter in the cooking area). I removed the "waveguide cover" and tried heating a cup of water, worked fine. Went looking for a replacement part and this was the best deal. Used the old window as a template. Have six months on it, and maybe another eleven years.

Sure fit
The fact that you cut it by yourself is actually the best feature, because the material is solid but very easy to cut and to shape to a perfect fit. The package contains 10 pieces, so you don't have to worry if you have multiple microwaves of different brands.

Fixed the Dacor Microwave Oven [Again!!!]
This is an easy and inexpensive way to fix a failed mica waveguide cover. Exact fit covers are available for multiple times the cost. I simply traced the outline of the old cover on one of the mica sheets and used small precise scissors to carefully cut the small details. Each sheet is large enough to make 2 covers. This is the 4th or 5th time I have repaired this 12 year old Dacor microwave oven. Second time for the waveguide cover and also had to replace a mechanical latch and 1 or 2 electromechanical switches in the latch opening and switching mechanism. Replacing the waveguide cover is the easiest of fixes because it can be performed without taking the microwave oven apart.

It saved my microwave
I have an old Dacor microwave that burned through its waveguide cover. There was so much burnt material and chipped enamel on the wall of the microwave that I was skeptical the appliance could be saved simply by replacing the burnt cover. But this new waveguide cover did the trick. I used the old cover as a template to cut a new one from this material using a normal pair of kitchen scissors. Took 10 minutes, start to finish. Works great, and I now have a stock of several more covers in case the problem recurs.

Cut to fit.
Easy to trace and cut from old product with exacto knife (don't try it with scissors). Sears Repair had declared my my microwave DOA and charged me only $250. Went online and found this fix for only $10. You get 10 attempts to cut right. My first try worked like a charm as does my microwave now.
