I needed a way to connect my regular USB devices to my Macbook.. and everyone knows how crippled they are if you have no way to connect your devices to it. I ended up buying this 2 pack of USB C to USB 3.0 Adapters because it seemed like the cables were well made and wanted to give them a shot being a new product. I absolutely enjoy these adapters. I've compiled a list of pros and cons down below after using these cables.Pros:- Super durable and stiff so they don't feel like they'll break anytime soon- The USB C head isn't large so that my Macbook can lay flat- Strong connection allows me to carry my Macbook around with the adapters plus whatever is plugged in attached- Braided cable! (Say yes to braided)- Good looking in general- No noticeable performance issues with transferring large files between my USBs and my Macbook- I was able to use my two USBs simultaneously through one adapter no problem- No noticeable mouse delay when plugging in my wireless mouse to itCons:- The only con I can think of is because it's stiff, you might not be able to find a good place to route the adapter to. But honestly, if it weren't stiff, I'd be scared of it breaking easily so kind of a "half con"All in all, super happy with this and I will definitely enjoy traveling with these adapters.

I have a StarTech 2-port Type-C USB 3.1 gen 2 PCI-E card installed in my computer. I used this cable/adapter to connect a number of different USB Type-A devices. All worked well, even an external WD USB 2.0 hard drive (that's a waste of a 3.1 gen 2 port, of course, but other extenders - especially those that connect my StarTech USB 3.1 gen 2 Type-A hub to that same PCI-E card do *not* support USB 2.0 devices... even though USB is supposed to be backward compatible). Oh, and I had no USB 1.0 devices to test, BTW.Again, this adapter works great. If it fits your need, don't hesitate to buy now!

I have a 2018 MackBook and the USB-C port. tolerance is very tight. I have tried other adapters that plug directly into the port and those cause wifi issues and get stuck in the port. This one which I bought to replace two others that failed has served me very very well. I actually like that they have about a 5' cord as other cables don't have to bend and it fits perfectly in the extra USB-C port. These folks even provide two adapters for the same price. so, voila!Also, their customer service is stellar. They reached out right away to make sure I was happy.

I purchased these in order to use USB flash drives and other peripherals on a Macbook Pro. They worked exactly as I expected and feel solid and well-made.I have purchased a few iVanky cables in the past and have always been impressed by their construction quality. These adapters are no exception. The braided cable is a nice touch and the connectors on either end look and feel very sturdy. Overall they just feel *solid*.Functionally, I was hoping these would allow me to connect flash drives and other devices via USB, and I am happy to report that they do exactly that. The drives I connected transferred files without a hitch and I didn't have any issues with any other device that I tried.If you're looking for a type C to USB 3.0 adapter these are a great choice!

LESS INTERFERENCE with WiFi than my other adapters. Other adapters cause me to lose my WiFi connection due to interference. These work much better. Appears to be a common issue with hubs and adapters (WiFi interference). Beware of other adapters!

The quality is good. I have been using it for couple of months with my MBP. So far have been used with> Insignia wired mouse> Logitech K350 wireless keyboard and muse adapter> Samson g-track pro mic. Garage band was able to identify attached guitar to the mic via this> Blue yeti mic> Ivkey External DVD driveI did not want an adapter that sticks to the laptop as it might weigh down the thunderbolt port when things are used. This can easily rest on the table. Might become as issue if you are actually using Macbook in your laptop.Its 22cm (almost 8.2 Inches) in length.

The same quality and functionality I’ve come to expect from iVanky. I’m a huge fan of the braided cord which I have encountered with several of their products. I’m actually dissapointed when I find out they don’t yet make and adapter or cord I need and I’m forced to purchase from another company. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hauling my laptop to and from work and school could be rather laborious. Using this USB C to USB female adapter allows me to use my Logitech K400 plus wireless keyboard with my Galaxy S10+ or Galaxy S4 tablet and instantly transforms it into a word processor for quick notes. I have also connected USB flash drives to transfer music from my laptop to mobile devices, transferred pictures from my DSLR with an SD card reader, and allows me to charge my vape lol with my phone. It's a better alternative from the included bulky, short adapter with Samsung Galaxy devices if your phone/tablet case is too bulky to connect that included adapter.
