Good thermometer - Could be better packaged
It is accurate and works flawlessly. I have used it for approximately 4 months, and I am happy with the purchase. I wish it had a separate on and off switch so that I can leave the probe extended the entire time I am cooking. I find myself continually opening and closing the probe which can be a bit messy. The other good design improvement would be to make the side opposite of the probe to be flat so that I can rest it on this side. Just a couple of suggestions to an otherwise good product.

Very accurate and easy to use!
This is a great thermometer and is very easy to use. I tried this out after cooking a steak sous vide and the temperature was within one degree. It automatically turns on when extended and turns off when closed again. The bottle cap opener isn't as effective, but I bought this to check the temperature of my food, not to open beer bottles. However, it's still a great idea and should be strengthened to open bottles with a tighter cap.

Open, close. Logical
I kind of like this thermometer. I open it and it turns on. Close it and it's off. What could be easier. I work in a commercial kitchen and this meets the requirement to check temps. Manual thermometers take too long to get to temp. This one is quicker. (Now let's hope no one drops it and breaks it.)

Great design
I bought this because it has the option to be calibrated if it needs to be. But other then that it works very well and I love the auto on and off. It’s also a magnet so it sticks right by the grill or oven when I need it.

Easy to use
Used it for X-mas. It was super easy and it come with some instructions and temperatures for some meats on the back. the thermometer turns on and off automatically as you move the "needle" that's how I'm calling it.

Helpful tool
Works like a charm. The better you get at cooking the less you need a thermometer. Boy, does it help to have a thermometer along that journey. Easy to use and worth the $$$

Large, easy to read digital display
I like the easy to read display, and that it turns off when closed. I Love how quickly and accurately it read. The magnet keeps it out of my drawer freeing up space. Great buy!

Got it a little early
Looks like a sturdy product with a couple of additional useful features lacking in the meat thermometer it is replacing. It also appears to be easier to use without burning your hand.
