I bought this for floral arrangements (smaller container purchase) and after the event I wasn't sure what to do with it. I dumped them into an area of my yard about 18" X 18" of dirt and topped it with 2" of garden soil to bury the crystals. One year later that area has grown the deepest green and most lush grass ever. No, I didn't add grass seed. This was just natural grass taking over. The kitties that visit my yard hang out in their little mini lush jungle to keep cool. I will definitely buy more of this. A little goes a LONG way. Make sure you soak it over night in distilled water for the largest crystals possible. It is beautiful and later serves a great purpose.
