Works perfectly. The new batteries have a slightly smaller form factor, but the included two sided tape worked well. The included screwdriver and pry tool worked well. Battery life is great so far. Just watch a YouTube video on how to swap the batteries. Not even a five minute job. No tech skills needed.

The batteries were easy to change out. The included pry tool worked great. Has plenty of charge to last a long time. The batteries are smaller than the originals. They came with two sided sticky tape to hold them in place.

I haven't done any mAh testing to verify the capacity claims, but what I can verify is that these batteries were visually well made, easy to install, include some double sided tape to keep them from moving inside the controller, and most importantly, are a SIGNIFICANT upgrade in battery life over a stock controller battery. I ordered two and plan to order another two so I can upgrade all four of my controllers.It also includes a screwdriver and plastic prying tool to open the controller. What's not to love?

Uploaded several pics. Tried highlighting old OEM battery & new battery with Pic of sticky tape on backside. Small size discrepancy vs original; tape stops it from moving around the battery compartment. Highly recommend watching a thorough YT video on safely opening your controller to see clip locations.Spudger broke alarmingly easily while undoing the first clip on the bottom of the controller. Since this contained 2 batteries, I didn't expect it to break on the first job I used it for. Anyway, after trying again with the other side, I successfully got the first black piece of trim off. Then I tried popping the side clips of the controller and just kept failing. I ended up having to use my iFixIt spudger, which is slightly thicker and sturdier and handled the job a bit easier. I didn't want to risk breaking the controller's frail clips.That said, the screwdriver is nice for a freebie. Just the right size for the 4x screws you need to remove, and it's magnetic so you don't have to worry about dropping them as you're taking them out/putting them back in. Even has a nice little rubber ergonomic grip.As far as battery life, I'll have to report back on that. It came with what my ps5 perceived as a full charge (3/3 bars), and I'm not going to try putting it on the charger while it's showing full battery.I had to replace my old battery in this controller because it would show 3/3 bars (full), and proceed to tell me it had low battery not even 10 minutes later, then die within 1 minute of getting that message. Hopefully this one lasts a long time - battery life was abysmal on these controllers out of the box. New one touts 4,000 mAh, old one says 1650 mAh (~2.5x). Time will tell - I'll edit this after I've had a few charge/deplete cycles with it.One star knocked off for this being marketed as an all in one solution for a battery replacement, and coming with such a cheap tool. I honestly think they could've just omitted the tools and maybe knocked a dollar or two off the price, leading consumers to buy sturdier tools for this job. Otherwise this is a pretty fantastic value.

I’ve had my controllers since the PS5 first dropped and the batteries could not hold a charge at all. Since using these to replace the stock battery, they feel like brand new controllers. I did not want to spend $70 for a new one since the battery was the only problem. I will buy these again to replace the battery in my AIM controller soon enough.I will say that the tool could be a little more durable.

My husband has two controllers and he was using him since the PS5 first came out so it's been a while. The PS5 controllers do not stay charged long like the PS4s, this would be fully charged and then about 5 or 10 minutes after playing Fallout or Call of Duty it would die. For a surprise I decided to get these put them in his controllers and see if they would last longer than 10 minutes. I didn't tell him that I replace the battery. He started playing the next day and he asked me if I replace the controllers I said no. I let him be confused for about a good hour before he's like how are these still charged, then I told him I replace the battery. He can play about 8 hours before they die. I hope they keep up this charge for at least a year. They were easy to put in, they fit great they actually came with a little thickened sticky pad because the batteries are a bit smaller than the original. They don't flop about inside. Now my son's controller is dying at about 10 minutes so I bought one more yesterday.
